Christmas Tote
I made this bag for a chinese auction at one of our family gatherings! I really wanted to make something for it this year and I think it turned out very cute! This is the first time I have actually done as the pattern said to! I sewed the corners to make it a square, boxy looking bag. This is the same pattern as the tote/diaper bags that I make. I wasn’t so sure if the fabric would look good as a bag, but I really like it! Maybe I’ll make another one for myself (like I need another bag myself ;) ). I also added a little button to the front pocket on this one. I had cute little ceramic mitten buttons hanging around, that I bought a few years ago; so I finally used one. It has one inside pocket and a magnetic snap closure. To see the inside go here. Hope you like it!
‘Tis the Season
Hello Everyone!!
I just wanted to post a cute picture of Kristopher and Taylor in their Christmas Garb! I think they look great in this picture :) Kody did the taking, in case you want to know!
We are very excited about Christmas this year and feel like it is all going by too fast. It seems like the month of December is just dissapearing. Today I have been trying to bake cookies all day, and I have acomplished about half of what I wanted to, so far! We are eating them way too fast though.
To read more about what has been happening with the kids, check out my personal webpage. I posted some news there yesterday!
In case I don’t get to write again before then: I hope that you all have a beautiful, blessed Christmas remembering the birth of our Savior and spending time with your friends and family.

These are a couple of gifts that I made for a friends baby boy. The one is a blanket with rubber duckies on it. I just bought the fleece and sewed the binding on! The other is the same little ear flap hat that I love to make. Such a cute easy hat! Also in these pictures you can see my handmade tags that I add to gifts and things that I sell.

This is a simple little square bag that I made out of one of Kristopher’s old sweaters. It was one of my favorites and was a turtleneck. He decided that it was too tight and started pulling on the neck, which made a big hole. I probably could have fixed it, but it was really a little too tight and since it was a favorite (and I needed a winter purse) I decided that I could use it for that. It turned out really cute. I used the sleeves to make the handle and the body of the sweater to make the bag. It is lined in white flannel. Let me know what you think!!

Here is Taylor’s blanket! I finished it a couple of weeks after she was born, but haven’t been able to post anything since then, so here it is. It is beautiful and I get compliments everywhere I go. In the one picture she has the matching hat on with it.
