Two!

Last Friday, the 21st of September was Taylor’s second birthday. Kody & I took her to lunch, while Kristopher was at school, at Captain D’s. She ate chicken, fries and ice cream – her favorite! We didn’t do anything else on her birthday and even saved her presents for her party the next day.

For Taylor’s party we went to the park and had a polka dot party. She had a lot of fun playing and coloring. She didn’t want to blow out her candle so she got some help from Kristopher and his friend Boaz (and it was hard to blow out even for the two of them!) We had to light the candle with a car lighter since I forgot matches, but eventually it worked. The adults even had a little fun, I think. (if you look closely at the picture (click to enlarge) with the car in it shows Grandaddy sliding with the boys) After everyone had gone, Taylor sat down on the bench for a drink. She was ready for the long nap she took after having such a good time. Thank you to everyone who was able to come!
