Taylor’s Socks

Here are my second attempt at socks, in miniature. This pair of lovely wool socks is for Taylor who will be wearing them from about 14 months-18 months (I hope). I bought this wool from the Red Barn Farm to make a lovely ribbed hat (last year). After starting and tearing out said hat several times the yarn decided that it wanted to be baby socks instead! The color is Autumn Earthtones of their hand-dyed 100% wool yarn. Do you like them?

One Sock, Two Sock, Red Sock, Blue Sock…

Okay, so they are both the same color (mostly blue with a little red – making them look purply [is that a word]), but I had one and then voila – I had two!

These are my first socks, and they are mine…all mine! I bought this wool last fall and I finally learned how to do all the tricky things you have to do to make socks. Now it seems so easy ;) I can’t wait to make more socks; does anyone need any?
